Happiness is seeing all major companies started to
manufacture electric cars, Tesla motors going to have more rivals than expected.
BMW CEO Harald Kruger confirmed the News of the iNext the all-electric flagship
car during the company’s annual shareholders meeting.
iNext will be launched on 2021, and this will be a direct reaction
to Tesla Motor’s success with electric cars industry and the good competition
to German rivals like Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
iNext will have a good eye catching design and nice features
like digital connectivity, autonomous driving, intelligent lightweight design
as CEO Kruger said. iNext (as the ‘i’
indicates) will have a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic body same like i3 and
i8, Further he said that the most anticipated car i8 convertible will be
launched on 2018.
Electric car industry will be a bigger competition among the
car manufacturing giants in the future. Audi and Mercedes-Benz luxury car manufacturers
has already stepped in to the industry, Audi is with a SUV - e-Tron
Quattro concept based will be launched in 2018 and Mercedes-Benz will launch
their first in 2018 or 2019. Beijing auto show was full of electric cars
showing the china’s ability to conquer the electric car industry.
