MERCEDES-BENZ wants to play a major role in EV (electric vehicle) industry

Newest trend of the automotive industry is to come up with an Electric vehicle, every major automobile companies in a competition to win the consumer trust with the features and capabilities of their products. Tesla Motors has made their name on the top while other major companies like Nissan, Toyota, Honda is in the list and new companies like Faraday Future, Nikola (Trucks) also in the process of becoming the best.

This news is from the Famous German Automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has finally made their decision to come in to the EV industry. German government has announced a $1.1 Billion electric car purchase incentive to the buyers and Mercedes-Benz didn’t want to let this opportunity go away. Mercedes-Benz won’t come in to the electric vehicle industry unless they can play a major role to attract more buyers, so the expectation of the Mercedes-Benz fans are higher.

Mercedes-Benz is planning to come with 4 electric vehicle models by 2020 (Auto Car), expecting two sedans and two SUVs. And it will be a huge investment to start from the scratch to develop electric vehicles, so as the news say these 4 model will be sharing bodies, platforms and design components with other models.
