What is the largest cruise ship ever? There were many through
out the history and here comes the newest one in to the list. STX France boat yard Saint-Nazaire on the
Atlantic coast spent 40 months building the world’s largest cruise ship ‘Harmony
of the Seas’ before it handed over to its owners US-based Royal Caribbean
Cruises Ltd (RCCL). The ship cost more than one billion US dollars can accommodate
6,360 passengers and 2,100 crew members.
And Harmony of the seas now hold the record of being the
widest ship ever built with 66 metres (217 feet) width and 362-metre length
makes it longer than the height of Eiffel Tower.
And the newest world record holder as the world’s largest
ship is not just the largest it is a huge floating town with inside high
street, central park with 12,000 plant species. And Ship also has its own 1400
seat theatre and many more like a rope slide, surf simulator, casino, mini-golf
and a giant climbing wall. All these amazing features made it also the most
expensive cruise ship ever built.

And the most popular "The Ultimate Abyss" a huge
waterslide from the top deck to the main deck.
As Laurent Castaing Head of STX France says, "Creating
this ship in 40 months is an extraordinary feat -- it's the achievement of
thousands of people," Best thing is Harmony of the seas CO2 emission is 20
percent less than the two largest ships in its category (Allure of the Seas and
Oasis of The Seas).
Harmony of the seas, world largest cruise ship will make its
maiden voyage on 22nd of May to its first destination port
Barcelona.
